Beverly Harrison is Vice President of Clinical Development of the MMRC. Ms Harrison is a seasoned research and development executive with more than 20 years of experience in both pharmaceutical and contract research organizations (CRO). Her areas of expertise include domestic and international operations, business development, sales and marketing management, strategic planning, and change management. Prior to joining the MMRC, Ms Harrison played a pivotal role in sales and marketing turnaround for three CROs in late- and early-stage services, co-founded her own niche oncology-focused CRO business with a physician and a business partner, and provided general management leadership for late-stage services for a global CRO. Ms Harrison graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science.
Sharon Goldberg came to the MMRC from the Yale Cancer Center where she was the Assistant Director of the Clinical Trials Office. Prior to that, she spent many years at New York University Cancer Institute as a consultant and the Manager of Budgeting and Contracting. She worked at North Shore Hematology Oncology Associates, as a Certified Clinical Research Manager where she was involved in early Velcade studies and also worked on trials being managed by Mike Needle, the new MMRC Chief Medical Officer. Ms Goldberg has provided oversight and guidance to research staff and investigators in areas of sponsor relations, budget negotiations, compliant and timely data reporting and recruitment strategies. She attended State University College at Brockport and State University at Stony Brook, majoring in political science and communications. She, her husband, and her family reside in Haddam, Connecticut.
