The MMRC’s outstanding Member Institutions, responsible for initiating MMRC research and drug development projects, were identified by the MMRC as the foremost myeloma research centers based on the following criteria:

  • Large number of National Institutes of Health (NIH) peer-reviewed grant awards, including all Founding Institutions having received P01 funding
  • Large number of peer-reviewed publications
  • Extraordinary scientific endeavors
  • World-renowned clinical expertise
  • Large number of myeloma patients and physician referrals
  • Collaborative approach to science

MMRC Member Institutions are now conducting innovative research efforts in the most promising areas of myeloma. Together, MMRC Institutions’ efforts will yield important discoveries, resulting in unprecedented scientific advances well beyond the scope of any one research institution.
